The 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG resurrects the gullwing doors of the 300SL of the 1950s for a new generation. It also packs a lot of tech into the cockpit and a lot of horsepower into its hand-built V8 AMG engine. A couple hundred miles in the driver's seat was a lovely way to spend a summer evening.
