The "VT" in the 1993 Lamborghini Diablo VT stood for "viscous traction," a reference to the car's all-wheel drive system, a first for any supercar. It transferred power from the rear wheels to the front wheels if the back started to slip. While the 5.7-liter V12 engine remained the same for this version of the Diablo, the handling improved markedly, thanks to the VT.
