In 1990, the Lamborghini Diablo hit the market as a successor to the Countach on the streets -- and on bedroom walls. The car had a 5.7-liter V12 engine and the famous lifting doors, called "butterfly," "gullwing," and "scissor" doors, depending on who was describing them. Lamborghini itself most often calls them scissor doors, for the record.
