Aston Martin Gets Small, Raises iQ
Aston Martin announced that it had a concept commuter car based on the teensy Toyota iQ. They call the concept the "Cygnet," which in case you don't know is a baby swan. The company seems to be acknowledging that this is an ugly duckling-type situation, with the other Astons in the barn serving as the graceful swans.
The Brits are collaborating with the Toyota team to come up with an ultra-luxury, environmentally conscious commuter car that could be sold along with the less-fuel-efficient DBS, DB9, and Vantage. Kind of like a prize in your cereal box.
Aston Matrin head Dr. Ulrich Bez said in a press release that "this project could become reality in the not too distant future." Stay tuned.
