Audi R8 Convertible in Iron Man 2

The Straightline blog at Edmunds.com has confirmed that the new, and as-yet-unrevealed, Audi R8 convertible will be featured in the next Iron Man movie. If you'll recall, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey, Jr.) drove a silver hardtop R8 in the first Iron Man flick, an adaptation of a Marvel comic.

Straightline also has images of the car taken by crafty car spies at the Nurburgring in Germany. Apparently, in order to make the soft top work, the distinctive carbon or silver strips behind the doors have been deleted. I like the look of those intake covers, but others find them distracting.
